Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Payroll team under the Employer of Record (EOR) model. You will ensure the accuracy of billing, collections, deposits, payroll pass-throughs, and multi-country cash transactions. Acting as the key link between Payroll, AR, AP, Treasury, and the Accounting Lead, you will perform reconciliations, validate financial data, support month-end close, and maintain clean, audit-ready records. This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting, reconciliation, and foreign currency analysis experience in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile salary funding vs. client deposits and ensure deposits are properly applied.
• Validate EOR/COR billing summaries against payroll registers and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and audit final billing statements and refund calculations for offboarded clients.
• Recalculate FX gains/losses and ensure compliance with the organization’s FX hedge methodology.
• Prepare FX audit worksheets and coordinate postings with the Accounting Lead.
• Perform manual bank reconciliations between bank statements, Xero records, and internal trackers.
• Identify and resolve unmatched transactions, duplicates, and unreconciled balances.
• Support the month-end close with accurate reconciliation schedules.
• Coordinate with AR, AP, Payroll, and Accounting Lead to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules for internal and external audits.
• Maintain organized documentation of all reconciliations.
• Support compliance with BIR, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Recommend improvements to reconciliation workflows, deposit tracking, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, AR/AP, audit, or financial operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Foundational knowledge of EOR/PEO, payroll outsourcing, BPO, or shared services business models.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions and FX analysis.
• Proficiency in Xero or other ERP systems; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
