Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled CAD Technician to support our Sales and Project Management teams across all CAD drawing requirements. Working under the supervision of the Head of Technical, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality technical services and ensuring accuracy across both standard and bespoke product design.

Responsibilities: 

• 2D AutoCAD Drawings - put together drawings for specific projects for the sales and project management teams using 2D AutoCAD and, where required, Solidworks. This will include standard products but also bespoke products which will require research and validation. Once project drawings are signed off by the customer generate manufacture drawings for suppliers for any bespoke project requirements.

• Test Drawings – create 2D drawings packs for Technical testing, for standard and emerging product, prior to test dates.

• Sales CAD Library - generate and maintain library of 2D .dwg CAD for sales and marketing use, based off controlled standard manufacturing CAD models and drawings.

• Programming for the CNC machines in the factory on Woodwop and other software

Requirements:

• Working knowledge and competency in 2D AutoCAD

• Working knowledge and competency in CNC programming

• Practical understanding of manufacturing, construction, and the built environment

• Teamwork and the ability to embrace change

• Excellent time and task management

• Ability to understand technical products

• Attention to detail Customer-centric

• Deadline and execution driven Excellent communication skills

• Ability to say “no” in the right way, when required
